ABOUT HARPER

Harper Barrow is a portrait artist who is revered for her meticulous attention to detail. She works exclusively with charcoal. She is gifted in her ability to capture the intense, raw emotion of her subjects, leaving the viewer with an understanding of the subject’s character.

Harper considers herself very fortunate to have a steady list of clients who keep her busy with commission work. These commissions are typically portraits of children, adults, and pets. Many of those are featured on this site, along with her personal work. 

 

Harper graduated from The University of Georgia with a BFA degree in drawing. She studied abroad in Cortona, Italy during her time at UGA.
